Today Fr Paul focuses his reflection on John’s Gospel (6: 44-51) in which Jesus says ‘No-one can come to me unless he is drawn by the Father who sent me’.
In explaining what this means, Fr Paul shares his own experience of being drawn by the Father and responding to the call to priestly ministry.
God gives signs and we are asked to believe. It is not all one-way traffic, God calls us to respond with heart and mind.
Fr Paul asks each of us to consider: how am I being drawn to God? How am I responding? He suggests simple, do-able ways we can respond to God in our everyday lives.
