Today, Fr Paul reads from the Gospel of John (5:31-47) in which the Jews confront Jesus about on whose authority he is acting.

In his reflection afterwards, Fr Paul identifies four sources from the Gospel that bear witness to the authority with which Jesus acts. He draws our attention to Jesus’s struggle and asks ‘Who are we are struggling with in our lives at the moment? What can we do to heal and restore these relationships?’ and ‘How can we do the work of the Father in our current climate?’
