Fr Paul reads from the Gospel of Matthew (28: 8-15), which tells us that Mary Magdalene and the other Mary are the first ambassadors in relation to the resurrection of Jesus when they take the message to the disciples.

We also hear of the Chief Priests and Pharisees bribing the men who guarded the tomb and spreading lies about what has happened.

In his reflection, Fr Paul asks us to consider the fact that Easter proclaims that nothing can prevent God’s love from overcoming anything.  He also asks two searching questions about how this might change us as we move forward from our Holy Week celebrations.
